HI

Heres the questionnaire to go with the Lomo book, it’s the same for every contributor but Im going to pick a few of the best to be included for print. If you could send it back completed asap that would be great. The book is coming together really well just looking to add this section. Ill be able to send you a PDF of the book layout shortly for you to get an idea of where I’m at.

Thanks

Dear Contributor

Im hoping to receive your contribution for the Lomo book as soon as possible as I want it to be finished by early January.

Logistically the fastest and easiest way for you to do this may be to upload them onto a printing website, which means I can retrieve them without you sending me a CD through the post. Please try and keep the jpegs high resolution for good quality printing.

The details you will need to upload are as follows and include using my username and password.

Hi there

Im Putting a book together on Lomo cameras, featured pictures from Lomo enthusiasts and text, interviwes and information about online publishing and community.

Im looking for people to take part in the project which would include sharing film with contributers shooting alternate shots, leaving those inbetween unexposed then sending the film through the post for the next contributer to utilise. For these purposes Id like to know whether the photographers taking part prefer to use 35mm or 120mm film.
They would then need to  be prepared to let me publish some pictures and send them to me.

The book will be sold at low cost, so there wont be much in the way of royalites, but if there was a print run of 500 copies each contributer could have 100.

Also I would like each  contributer to be interviered for the book so Im looking for people with opinions and experiences surrounding Lomo use.
If yr interested please send me some work youd like me to publish asap and tell me if youd like to take part in the film exchance project.

All the research will be on this blog ( zdo9.wodpress.com ) so you can check here  for the progress and background research.

Some Ideas For Book Concept.

With the Lomo camera there’s an option not to to not expose every frame. Id like to utilise this feature by shooting all the odd number frames and leave the even ones unexposed, then send the film to my lomo contact and have them to shoot the ‘gaps’ or remaining frames .Therefore i would shoot the ‘odds’ in London then send the film to Brazil or Taiwain….

The results will be published along with a interview from the participtant….
